How Collie handles your data

Draft pending legal review. Collie has not launched; these terms describe how it is designed to work.
On this website
If you leave your number, we store the number, the version of the consent wording you saw, and the time. We use it to text you once when Collie launches. This site uses no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising cookies.
When you text Collie
Collie keeps the messages you send as your record, and organizes them into a timeline: dates, symptoms, medications and the other things you tell it. It keeps your corrections alongside, so you can see what changed.
Who can see your messages
- A small Collie team. While Collie is new, people on our team review messages and Collie’s replies, so that what Collie remembers and says is accurate. Every time a team member opens a conversation, it is logged.
- An AI service. Collie uses an AI model provided by Anthropic to help read your messages. Your message text is sent to Anthropic for that purpose, under Anthropic’s standard commercial terms.
- Our infrastructure providers. A text-messaging provider carries messages to and from Collie, and our hosting and database providers store your record.
- Anyone you choose. If you ask Collie to prepare a brief for a clinician, you decide whether to share it and with whom.
What we never do
- We don’t sell your medical history or any personal information.
- We don’t use your symptoms or health information to target ads.
- If an employer, clinic or health plan ever pays for your access, they don’t get to see your memory unless you choose to share it.
Your choices
- Correct anything Collie has recorded by texting the correction.
- Text FORGET to remove a message, or FORGET ALL to erase everything. Erasure is permanent.
- Text STOP at any time to stop messages from Collie.
- To be removed from the launch list, reply STOP to the launch text or contact us.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers. Collie does not offer end-to-end encryption: text messages, and the people and services listed above, can read message content. We don’t claim certifications we don’t hold.
State privacy rights
Some US states give you additional rights over health data, including the right to access, delete and withdraw consent. You can exercise them by texting Collie or contacting us. Contact details will be published before launch.
